Unique Offerings

At our middle school, project-based learning turns curiosity into confidence. Instead of just memorizing facts, students dive into real-world questions and work together to solve meaningful problems. Whether they're designing inventions, creating documentaries, or planning community projects, our learners build critical thinking, collaboration, and communication skills that prepare them for high school and beyond. It’s learning with purpose—and it's what makes our school stand out.

Academics

English as a Second Language (ESL)
English as a Second Language (ESL) is a program that promotes a safe and encouraging learning environment for all English language learners.
High Trails
High Trails is a three-day outdoor-education experience located in Florissant, Colorado.
Project Based Learning (PBL)
Project Based Learning (PBL) is a student-centered pedagogy that involves a dynamic classroom approach allowing students to acquire a deeper knowledge through active exploration of real-world challenges and problems.
Seal of Biliteracy
We recognize and honor the skills our students attain through bilingualism. The ability to read, write, and speak in multiple languages provides a marketable advantage with colleges, universities, and competitive job markets. Students who meet requirements for proficiency will be awarded the Seal of Biliteracy on their official student transcript.
Talented and Gifted (TAG)
The Talented and Gifted (TAG) Program develops and nurtures students with exceptional abilities and talents in academics, creative thinking, leadership, or visual and performing arts.

Arts

Band
Our band programs blend rehearsal and performance to build real-world skills: musicianship, discipline, teamwork, and stage confidence. Depending on your school’s program, students can play woodwinds, brass, or percussion in concert band, jazz band, pep band, or percussion ensembles.
Choir
A choir is a musical ensemble of singers. Choral music, in turn, is the music written specifically for such an ensemble to perform. Choirs may perform music from the classical music repertoire, which spans from the Medieval era to the present, or popular music repertoire.
Drama
Our drama programs introduce students to performing arts in a supportive, low-pressure setting. They blend improvisation and scene work to build real-world skills: confidence, collaboration, active listening, and clear communication. Students can explore acting, stage movement, basic tech (sets, props, costumes), and perform for their class or school.
Orchestra
A large instrumental ensemble typical of classical music, which mixes instruments from different families, including bowed string instruments such as violin, viola, cello, and double bass, as well as brass, woodwinds, and percussion instruments, each grouped in sections.
